Misconceptions about the Old Testament: The OT is less valuable than the NT. The OT reveals a God of wrath, but the NT reveals a God of love. The OT teaches salvation by good works/keeping the law.

Why Christians Avoid the OT: The OT is immense. Children’s Sunday School tends to isolate OT episodes. Cultural distance. The OT is complicated. We think we already know everything about it. A “Bible Promises” approach to Scripture. Devotional Habits Study is hard work.
