Making Online Donations to the Provincial Employees Community Services Fund (PECSF)

How do I make my online donation? You can access the online donation page from the PECSF website: Click the “DonateNow image at the top right of the screen, and it will take you to the Employee Self Service (ESS)

Or access the online pledge directly through Payroll: Employee Self Service. Click to enter Employee Self Service to make your pledge.

Or if you prefer to use PeopleSoft breadcrumb pathways: Click on Main Menu, Self Service, Payroll and Compensation, Donate to the Community Fund

For Pay Period Deductions, specify the dollar amount per pay period by selecting an amount beside the buttons or from the list in the Other drop down menu. If your amount isn’t in the drop down, select $ Other, enter your Choice, & click the Accept Amount button. Step One - Making your donation

For Pay Period Deductions, specify the dollar amount per pay period by selecting an amount beside the buttons or from the list in the Other drop down menu. If your amount isn’t in the drop down, select $ Other, enter your Choice, & click the Accept Amount button.

For a one time payroll deduction, select an amount from the drop down menu or enter your own amount. Note: you can choose to do a payroll deduction, a one time deduction or both. The one time deduction will come off your first pay of next year.

Once you have selected your donation amount, click Continue to move to Step 2 – designating your donation.

Step 2 is designating your donation. This is where you decide which of the charities in your region you would like to support.

The system selects the city/region where you work. To change your region, select your city/region from the drop down menu. Step 2 is designating your donation

Click on this box if you want your donation to go to all of the ‘Approved Charities’ from the Regional Pool of Fund Supported Charities, Or Step 2 is designating your donation

…use the magnifying glass ‘look up’ to pick the charity you want to designate a percentage of your donation. You can choose up to ten different charities. Note: You can choose from ‘Approved Charities’ which are chosen by your regional committee or ‘Other Charities’ which are ones that donors themselves have added. Look here if you want to select just 1 of the members of the Regional Pool of Fund Supported Charities Look here if you want to select 1 of the many Donor Choice Charities not included in the Regional Pool of Fund Supported Charities. Step 2 is designating your donation

You can choose from the charities listed below by scrolling down the list. To speed up your search for a particular charity, you can use “Ctrl+f” to input the charity name in a Find popup box. Note: some regions have over 500 charities, so the Find option is valuable, & you can set it up to Match whole word only &/or Match case by checking the box next to these options. Finding your Favourite Charities

For additional charities, enter the first letter in the search box. For example: West Coast Children’s Choral Society – “Ctrl+f” and enter West Coast in the ‘Find’ box and use Next or Previous buttons to move about the list if there are multiple instances of the words. Select your choice and press OK button to add it to your pledge. Finding your Favourite Charities

If you need to change your designation click the Delete Selection box and scroll to the bottom of the page to click the Delete Selected Row button. Finish making your designation, then Click Continue to move to STEP 3. Step 2 is designating your donation

Prior to submitting your pledge, you can review your chosen charities and donation amounts. If you wish to change either the amount or the charity please use the Step Tabs to navigate back to the previous steps. When you are comfortable that your pledge is captured accurately, click the Submit Pledge button. Step 3 is submitting your pledge

This screen will confirm that your pledge has been completed. From the PECSF calendar: Please remember to return your PRIZE DRAW CAMPAIGN 2014 ENTRY FORM to your Canvasser or mail it to: PO Box 9564 Stn Prov Govt Victoria BC V8W 9C5 Click OK and you are will be transferred to View mode.
