Born as Anna Maria Louisa Italiano in New York, New York on September 17,1931, a woman we know as, Anne Bancroft, was welcomed to the world. Grew up in Bronx & studied at American Academy of Dramatic Arts in First finding work in the early 1950s on a television show and a few movies that failed to advance this young woman’s career. In the late 1950s she found a success on Broadway. 5 years ago she earned a Oscar for her work in the film The Miracle Worker. Now in 1967 she has been nominated for an Academy Award for her work in the movie The Graduate.
