My Career

If we want girls to succeed in life, keep them focused on what they can achieve and do well right from the start of their education…. When the going gets tough…. Don’t give up! (But don’t have regrets…) Get good career advice early on – including psychometrics… Be bold….listen to advice, but make your own mind up… We all need a lucky break in our career… but make the most of it! Choose a company in early career with good training and development opportunities…both on and off the job.

Decide the point at which work life balance becomes a higher priority and make it your focus.. Be comfortable working outside your comfort zone… it broadens your perspective Seize opportunities when they are offered….don’t be shy! Develop a network of sponsors and supporters at senior level Be aware of yourself as role model for other women as you become more senior… Give back… reinvent yourself and keep on learning!!
