Jobs went to Reed college in Portland, Oregon but dropped out 6 months later He started as a video game designer with a Atari in 1974 He left Atari and started experimenting with psychedelic drugs

When jobs was 21 he and Wozniak started apple computers in 1976 in the Jobs garage Jobs and Wozniak revolutionized the computer industry

The apple computers were smaller, cheaper, and anyone can get to the computer The computers were user friendly The marketing for the computers were $666.66(scary) Jobs and Wozniak released their first model, Apple I, and their second model, Apple II

The next several models would have bad models and they were surpassed by IBM/PC and they had to compete with them In 1984 apple released the Macintosh which was described as “romantic, youthful, and creative”

Even though that the macintosh was doing very good in sells and performance than their rival, IBM, macintosh wasn’t IBM compatible The executives of Apple thought that Jobs was hurting Apple so began to phase him out until he resigned in 1985 and started a new hardware and software called neXT inc.

Jobs bought a animation company from George Lucas which would later be called Pixar and invested $50 million dollars in Pixar. Pixar would later produce movies such as finding Nemo, and Toy Story. Pixar merged with Walt Disney in 2006 which made Jobs Disney’s largest shareholder.

neXT inc. was bought by Apple in 1997 for $429 million and Jobs returned to Apple as the CEO Jobs was credited for putting Apple back on track and reinvent apple with specialized operating systems such as the iMac which change the computer industries with the iMac’s applications and later he would introduce revolutionary such as the iPod, Macbook, and the iphone.

Steve Jobs died on October 5, 2011 at the age of 56 and has a book about his life and with Apple Pirates of the Silicon Valley depicts the how Steve Jobs changed the world and the start with Apple
