P SALMS 122:1-9 1 I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the LORD. 2 Our feet shall stand within thy gates, O Jerusalem. 3 Jerusalem is builded as a city that is compact together: 4 Whither the tribes go up, the tribes of the LORD, unto the testimony of Israel, to give thanks unto the name of the Lord. 5. For there are set thrones of judgment, the thrones of the house of David.

P SALMS 122:1-9 6 Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee. 7 Peace be within thy walls, and prosperity within thy palaces. 8 For my brethren and companions' sakes, I will now say, Peace be within thee. 9 Because of the house of the LORD our God I will seek thy good.

D AVID F OUND P EACE …. In verses 6-7 David talks about the peace within the walls and palaces of Jerusalem. He prayed for the peace of God’s people.

D AVID F OUND P EACE …. W e find peace in the House of God today –1–1 Corinthians 14:33 –J–J ohn 14:27 W e have peace on earth with God helping us

We find: Peace between the brethren – 1 Corinthians 13:11 – Finally brethren, farewell, Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace, and the God of Love and peace shall be with you.

D AVID F OUND P EACE …. W e find peace in knowing we are right with God. J ohn 16:33 – These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. P hilippians 4:9 – If we do God’s will we have peace.
