Research and Presentation Expectations Nutrients

Nutrients Presentation 2 days in the LRC to research and create PowerPoint presentation DUE: January 15th at the end of class a copy of Ppt. slides to instructor Presentations Dates: Thursday, January 16 th and Friday, January 17 th

Nutrients Presentation Presentation must include: 4-8 slides All group members participate Each person must present Cover your topic thoroughly Follow guidelines on rubric Include the following within your PowerPoint: How your body uses the nutrient. Does the nutrient provide energy? If so, how much? In what foods is the nutrient found. Be Specific. (at least 4) What happens if your body does not have enough (deficiency) of the nutrient. What happens if your body has too much (excess) of the nutrient. What are health benefits and concerns associated with this nutrient.

Nutrient Presentation Rubric (to earn maximum credit) Organization Student presents information in logical, interesting sequence which audience can follow. Subject Knowledge Student demonstrates full knowledge (more than required) by answering all class questions with explanations and elaboration. Graphics Student's graphics explain and reinforce screen text and presentation. Mechanics Presentation has no misspellings or grammatical errors. Eye Contact Student maintains eye contact with audience, seldom returning to notes. Elocution Student uses a clear voice and correct, precise pronunciation of terms so that all audience members can hear presentation.
