This will allow a Level 1 auditing.  The demand driven energy certificate is the basis of the understanding of the building, its HVAC systems and their operation and utilisation. It is the basis of Level 2 and Level 3 audits and allows to introduce rule based and model based energy management  Comparing the demand of the end energy gas (144,9 kWh/m2*a) with the temperature corrected consumption (119 kWh/m2*a) and considering incertainties due to climatic conditions and the limited occupancy during build up of ennovatis is quite good.

© ennovatis GmbH 5 First preliminary conclusions  We can use the EPBD geometry model to calculate both energy demand and energy consumption  We can derive from measured consumption data (water and electricity) valuable information to determine the internal loads  We still have to improve the profiles for the consumption simulation  We expect to be able to predict the energy consumption with an accuracy of 5% or better  Measures to improve energy efficiency can be derived from the hourly data. They should be applied if discrepancies become more than 5%  We also will be able to derive rules for modeling of buildings and building systems to achieve the 5% accuracy

© ennovatis GmbH WP 6: Implementation in the demonstration buildings and continuous assessment of performance Ennovatis proposal on continuous performance assessment and identification of cost-effective measures Presented by U. Jahn

© ennovatis GmbH 11 WP 6: Implementation in the demonstration buildings and continuous assessment of performance  WP 6 will evaluate the ability of the developed tools to help in the task to identify energy saving measures. The measures themselves should be low cost as they mainly concern the operational parameters  The aim of WP 6 is to reach a significant reduction of the energy use in the buildings by means of the analysis

© ennovatis GmbH 12 WP 6: Tasks 1.Implementation of the building specific concepts for continuous commissioning developed in WP 4 2.Installation of the data collection component 3.Application of the tool(s) to the demonstration buildings 4.Continuous performance assessment and identification of cost-effective measures to increase energy efficiency (payback time preferably less than 2 years). 5.Implementation of most desirable measures to increase energy efficiency together with building owner.

© ennovatis GmbH 13 WP 6: Outcomes and Deliverables  Outcome of this work package:  Data measurement equipment and tools installed in demonstration buildings  Analysis of energy performance of demonstration buildings  Reduction of energy consumption in demonstration buildings  Deliverable(s) of this work package:  D6: Report on energy savings, CO2 reduction and practicability and cost-benefit of developed tools and continuous commissioning  D7: Guidelines for future development of EPBD in respect to commissioning
