Part of picking up our cross and following Jesus is this willingness to embrace the ministry of healing without looking at results. We must identify with the pain of counting the cost in order to contend for healing.

Power to save was present in both instances, but it was only summoned in the second.

Those who think they know something do not yet know as they ought to know. But whoever loves God is known by God. 1 Corinthians Love never fails.... where there is knowledge, it will pass away. For we know in part and we prophesy in part, For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror;... Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known. 1 Corinthians ,12

For the eyes of the L ORD range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him. 2 Chronicles 16.9
