HADITH

Hadith "The reward for Salat performed by a person in congregation is more than 20 times greater than that of the Salat performed in one's house or shop. When one performs Wudu' perfectly and then proceeds to the mosque with the sole intention of performing Salat, then for every step he takes towards the mosque, he is upgraded one degree in reward and one of his sins is eliminated until he enters the mosque, Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported that: The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said: [Al-Bukhari and Muslim]. Source: Riyadh us Saaliheen 5-10

Hadith and when he enters the mosque, he is considered as performing Salat as long as it is the Salat which prevents him (from leaving the mosque); and the angels keep on supplicating Allah for him as long as he remains in his place of prayer. They say: 'O Allah! have mercy on him; O Allah! forgive his sins; O Allah! accept his repentance'. This will carry on as long as he does not pass wind" Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported that: The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said: [Al-Bukhari and Muslim]. Motivational tip

Purpose of Revelation To do Tadabbur (ponder upon its verses) and Tazakkur (to receive admonition) To do Tadabbur (ponder upon its verses) and Tazakkur (to receive admonition) In other words, fulfill the rights of the Qur’an. In other words, fulfill the rights of the Qur’an.

Rights of the Qur’an  Believe in it  Read it  Understand it  Ponder its verses  Act upon it  Use it for curing the diseases of our heart (to strengthen our faith and to help us in remaining steadfast);  Spread it

On the day of Judgment “And the Messenger (Muhammad pbuh) will say: O my Lord! surely my people have treated this Quran as a forsaken thing” And the scholars say that if we don’t fulfill any of the rights of the Qur’an, we are leaving it to that degree. Do we want to be among those people against whom the Prophet pbuh will put up the case.

To fulfill these rights… We have to start with understanding the Qur’an to fulfill these rights. We have to start with understanding the Qur’an to fulfill these rights. Qur’an was revealed so that we worship Allah by understanding and implementing it. But people made its recitation alone as worship (and left the rest of the rights)!!!
