DWP Partnership/Relationship Managers Angela Roberts Partnership Manager (Beds & Herts district)

Our Role To build and manage effective relationships between The jobcentre; (training) Providers; and (local) Employers (our national partnerships team engages with national employers; then such agreements are filtered to local areas for our own engagement). We work closely with Skills brokers/training providers (private companies as well as local colleges) to ensure that local provision meets the needs of all customers; Employers to ensure that we source provision that meets their recruitment needs; also in liaison with Partners/forums such as Local Authorities; Local Drug/Alcohol; Mental Health; and Carers; To address worklesness in local areas (in essence – addressing skills gaps by matching employer requirements with claimant needs, in partnership with local (training) providers.

Contact us if: You want to discuss working with Jobcentre Plus. You may Wish to promote courses/opportunities for our Claimants; Wish to discuss a sector based work academy Have a query with regards to training provision, the local labour market and Jobcentre Plus; Need to resolve issues between yourself and the jobcentre; or even if You are not sure who in the local Jobcentre you need to speak to. Where possible, ALWAYS use the Partnership/Relationship managers as your first point of contact.
