These photos are from Newhalem – where Seattle gets it’s power. This cabin was built in 1909 … love the way the walls are jointed together

I had less than 2 seconds to shoot this guy as he went between trees – thus it’s not as sharp as I’d like, but proof that I at least saw an eagle!

Here was my second shot – the other four shots 3.5 per second) leaves you wondering what I had for lunch!

I really liked the way this photo turned out …. But then I discovered something else …on next slide.

I found a picture in a picture and I really like this one too.

The Skagit river was extremely full. I noticed Flood Evacuation Route signs on roads leading out of town. I guess it can get much fuller yet.

Some of the buildings in Newhalem are showing a bit of ware … well, to be honest, some of them are from the 20’s and 30’s and we’re not exactly talking about an upscale neighborhood.
