The “NASA Deep Space Mission” Learning How to Live and Work in Deep Space for Extended Stays and Very Long Missions (Like to the Asteroids and Mars) Developing Orion Crew Capsule for Deep Space Orion will be going deeper/farther into space than LEO Capsules will with more supplies and equipment Orion will be Reentering the Earths Atmosphere at a higher velocity than LEO Capsules. Developing SLS (Space Launch System) (Also referred to as the Senate Launch System) Lead Discussion and Q&A about this Development of Space Launch System The SLS will be based on the technology of the Space Shuttle. It will be using some of the same Manufacturing Facilities and preserving existing Industrial Capabilities and skill base (JOBS !!)
