Comparing the Cultures (Trends) Both the Irish Texans and the German Texans came from Europe. The German, Irish, Native Americans, and Mexican Texans in the Coastal and North Plains Region. Many cultures moved Texas for a better life and more opportunities. Both Mexican and German Texans influenced Texas by their food, and their music. But the Irish influenced the Texas with their lace making. The Native Americans impacted Texas and the Texans because they tell people about how Texas and the United States was long before the First Anglo settlers got there. The Native Americans were forced to leave their homes and go into the reservations, but the German, Mexican, and Irish went to Texas on their own.
