5. When will Jesus come again?

Mt 25 31)"When the Son of Man (Jesus) comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his throne in heavenly glory. 32) All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. 33) He will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left. This is how Jesus will Come back to earth visibly on the Last Day, to judge the living and the dead.

Warning! Watch out for some churches that teach that there will be a great war (sometimes called the Apocalypse) between the forces of good and evil, in connection with Christ’s return to earth. That great war is the struggle we live in right now, as we await Christ’s return. Nor is there a “Zombie” Apocalypse; that’s Hollywood’s imagination.

2. No one knows, except God himself. Mt 24: 36 p. 982 “No one knows about that day or hour, not the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.”

Jesus will destroy the earth, but after He has taken his Sheep (the believers) to heaven. Since we have heaven to live in, we don’t need this earth any longer. The Apostle Peter teaches that the earth will be destroyed by fire. Will it be like this picture? We don’t know.

No one knows except God himself! What we do know is that it is im- possible to predict when the Last Day will be! Everyone who tries is wrong.

In connection with false prophets: Matt 24~ 24) For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and miracles to deceive even the elect– if that were possible. Deceiving miracles!
