HISTORY “OF TOV PRODUCTS,LTD” WAS ESTABLISHED AS A FINISHED MEAT PROCESSING PLANT AND EXTENSION OF THE “OF-TOV” SLAUGHTERHOUSE. THE FINISHED MEAT PROCESSING PLANT WAS BUILT ON THE FOUNDATIONS OF THE OLD PLANT, WHICH BURNED DOWN IN THE PLANT PRODUCES FULLY COOKED AND COATED PRODUCTS SUCH AS SCHNITZELS AND UNCOATED PRODUCTS SUCH AS MEAT BALLS AND HAMBURGERS.

HISTORY IN 1999 OF-TOV PURCHASED HOD LAVAN, A LEADING PRODUCER OF PASTRAMIS AND DELI PRODUCTS. IN THE YEAR 2002 THE TWO PLANTS MERGED AND BEGAN PRODUCTION IN THE NEW FACILITY LOCATED IN BEIT SHEAN.

FACTS & FIGURES THE PLANT PRODUCES APPROXIMATELY 18,000 TONS PER YEAR. Plant covers 20,000 square meters THE PLANT EXPORTS APPROX TONS PER YEAR TO EUROPE AND THE USA. THE PLANT EMPLOYS APPROX. 300 WORKERS THE PLANT OPERATES TWO SHIFTS DAILY DUE TO THE ISRAELI SANITARY LAW.

Technology & Quality Assurance

Production Standards Fresh meat arrives to the factory directly from the slaughter house. The products are processed, quick fried / baked / smoked and immediately deep freeze or chilled. The products are packed in “high risk” conditions. The plant operates under strict veterinary supervision, and has ISO 9001:2000, GMP & HACCP approvals. Production complies with stringent USDA and EEC standards. All the products meet strict rabbinical supervision and have “Glatt Kosher” certification.

R&D and Quality Control Large on-site laboratory employs cutting-edge technologies for product development. On-going development of new products for an expanding market. Advanced quality-control system covering all phases of production. All products are sampled for microbiological, chemical and organoleptic testing.
