Freeze and Thaw Areas Use the Freeze and Thaw Tools in the Liquify dialog box to: –Freeze areas within an image so that Liquify tools leave them unaffected –Thaw frozen areas and then edit them © 2011 Delmar Cengage Learning
Freezing Image Areas To selectively freeze areas –Paint them with a pointer By default, frozen areas are painted in red A different color for frozen areas can be applied © 2011 Delmar Cengage Learning

Reconstructing Distortions Individual distortions made with the Liquify feature do not appear in the History panel –These distortions cannot be undone Use the History panel to delete the effects of an entire Liquify session Reconstruct using one of eight reconstruction modes © 2011 Delmar Cengage Learning
