A Day at the Courts Justice was looking forward to playing tennis with his friend. First, he had to wait for his tennis partner to arrive. Then, they had to wait for for an empty court. When it was finally their turn to play tennis, it suddenly started to rain. They patiently waited for the rain to stop. As soon as the sun came out, Justice smiled.

What will happen next? Justice and his tennis partner will play tennis together. A. Justice and his tennis partner will go home. B. Justice will yell at his tennis partner. C. Justice and his tennis partner will play tennis together. D. Justice and his tennis partner will throw trash on the empty tennis court.

The Phone Call Marykate called her friend Trinity on the telephone. Marykate told her about the goal she made at her soccer game. She also told her about her new earrings. In addition, Marykate told Trinity about the new movie her mom had just bought her. Trinity finally asked, “Are you ready for that science test we have to take tomorrow?” Marykate gulped and said, “Oops! I forgot all about it. I better hang up now. Good-bye!”
