Rinse off safety clothing with water if chemicals are spilled on them. –If you or your partner are hurt, immediately yell out “CODE 1, CODE 1!” to get the teacher’s attention. –Dispose of all experimental waste properly by following directions from your teacher. Everything does not belong in the trashcan! –NOT ON CONTRACT - Keep hands away from face, eyes, mouth and body while using chemicals. Wash your hands with soap and water before leaving class.

Be sure to include the following information in your project regardless of the format you choose: –The safety statement (copied from your safety contract) –An appropriate scenario or situation when the safety precaution applies. –What to do in order to follow the safety precaution. –What might happen if the safety precaution is not followed.
