New Daily Metered Site  DM Service Provider receives a request from Gas Shipper for installation of daily meter reading equipment  Quotation provided  On quotation acceptance  New MPR – Meter Details manually added using data from Connection/Disconnection Store  Datalogger information added to UK-Link to allow DM nomination to be made in Gemini  Datalogger details updated when installation is completed

Daily Read Process  Collect a reading for the start/end of each gas day (06:00)  Carry out initial tolerance validation on readings received  Deliver reading to UK-Link (xoserve)  UK-Link validates and delivers DM readings to Shippers before a.m. each day via the IX  Where readings are not collected estimates are calculated within S&M based on D-7 consumption  Sweep up files are provided for readings collected after the deadline and loaded into UK-Link  DM readings/consumptions are collected every 4 hours during the gas day

Daily Read Delivery Service National Grid – Network Operations Deliver DM Firm / Interruptible consumption data, separately, every 4 hours, within 1 hour after collection Deliver 7am DM Firm/ Interruptible consumption data, separately at 8am Deliver DM Firm/ Interruptible consumption data, separately, for the previous 24 hours by 10am each day Demand Forecasting - Xoserve Deliver DM, Unique and NDM firm readings, validated by specified routines on D+14 following collection Biannually increase delivery to meet issued schedule Daily Read file - xoserve Deliver 6am readings by 8:30am for onward delivery to shippers by 11am (Liable Process) Deliver daily sweep up files of late readings by 4.30pm Unique Site File - Xoserve Deliver 6am readings for Unique Sites by 10am Unique Site Readings to Gas Shippers Deliver 6am reading, by fax, to gas shippers prior to 11am (Liable Process) Bulletin Board Service Provider Gas Shippers with a facility to access hourly data at four hourly intervals of each gas day

DM Annual Check Read  Arrange a DM Check Read/Site Visit every 12 months  Validates the accuracy of the datalogger  Input the Check Read/Resync site visit on UK-Link  Instigates DM Reconciliation  Each resync investigated to account for drift. Drift then manually input onto UK-Link  UK-Link pro-rates drift across reconciliation period

Daily Read Errors & Consumption Adjustments  Where the Daily Read Equipment is deemed not to be functioning correctly; up to D+5 the Shipper can request that the consumption is adjusted  Faulty metering equipments – Consumption Adjustments are agreed between Shippers and DM Service Provider  DM Service Provider pass the adjustment details to xoserve  DM consumption issues are also identified by National Grid, Network Operations Team; who refer these to the shipper for investigation

Daily Read Charges  Daily Meter Reading Charge  Charge for the collection/delivery of Daily Meter Readings to gas shippers  Datalogger Rental Charge  Rental charge covering the maintenance of the datalogger  Daily charges specified in the DM Service Providers Charging Statements  Invoice created monthly of relevant charges for each shipper by Network  Passed to xoserve for issue to Gas Shippers

DM Liabilities  Deliver 97.5% of readings to Gas Shippers on a monthly basis. Readings must be delivered by a.m. on D+1 of each Gas day during the month  Where daily readings are not delivered for 4 consecutive days, on the following day and every subsequent day liabilities are paid  DM Service Provider monitor and calculate the DM read performance for these standards and provide these to xoserve on a monthly basis
