ACTIONS SO ENVISAGED & PLANNED…. Orientation of Officials, PRIs, Community Resource Institutions / Persons on Thematic issues. (Action : Director, SIRD). Prioritization and scheduling of actions through Block Level Action Plan Preparation. (Action : BDO, Kantapada and PD, DRDA, Cuttack). Identification of nodal persons in each Department. (Action : PD, DRDA, Cuttack). BDO to act as Chief Block Coordinator (Action : PD, DRDA, Cuttack

Sharing of Action Plan with CRPs and the Community (Action : BDO, Kantapada and SIRD). Setting up of a Community Radio (Action : PD, DRDA, Cuttack and BDO, Kantapada). Cultural Troops, NREGS Rath, Pamphlets, Leaflets and Programme related IEC materials. (Action : Director, SIRD, PD, DRDA, Cuttack and BDO, Kantapada). Request Department of Field Publicity / Song & Drama Division of MoI&B, GoI for Publicity (Action : Joint Secretary, MoRD, GoI). Conduct of Capacity Building initiative of different stake holder of the Block (Action : Director, SIRD).

Project Management Cell at SIRD (Action : Director, Special Projects) Selection of Nodal Officer for the Block (Action : Heads of different Line Departments attending the meeting). Convergence of Resources and IEC Action Plan for the Project (Action : Heads of different Line Departments attending the meeting). Documentation of the experience and process. (Action : BDO, Kantapada) Coverage of 4 Blocks in the State over a period of one year and nomination of the Block (Action : Director, Special Projects).

Replication of the initiative in other Blocks as per the lesson learnt of this initiative.(Action : PD, DRDA). Submission of the Action Plan to SIRD by Block for onward transmission to MoRD by 24 th August, (Action : BDO, Kantapada).
