After 5 hours of hiking, we arrived at our camp site by snow lake, our home for the next 3 days. Aug 14 4pm, Snow lake

we left our camp at 7am and started our attempt of Prussik Peak. Aug 15 8am: view on our way to Enchantments

Spring by Lake Viviane Water Break, Nathan and Joan

11:30am, West Ridge, Prussik Peak, overcast and dark cloud in the south Hesitation among the group. Shall we go up?

And yes, at 1pm we decided to press onward and upward. Belayed by Annie, Bruce started leading the first pitch,.

7:30 pm, we arrived at the base of the climb. The summit of prussik was bathed in alpine glow. 10:30pm, we got back to our camp at Snow Lake in pitch dark.
