Provisional Accreditation Core Professional Training or KSA Equivalent Professional Accountability for one year Specialist C/BT Training – Minimum Training Standards CBT specific Clinical Supervision for 12 months Commit to Full Accreditation in 12 months Supervisor Report & Professional Reference Declarations & Ethics

Minimum Training Standards Provisional Accreditation:Criterion Three 450 hours of specialist C/BP training overall 200 hours must be taught by recognised C/BT trainers Half formal training must involve CBT skills development 200 hours of C/BP Supervised Clinical Practice Minimum x8 cases with at least x3 different problems types x4 written up/assessed as case studies ( words) x3 closely supervised - live element (in-vivo, video, audio) and assessed using competence scale (eg CTS-R)

Supervisor and/or Trainer Accreditation Route A – with Re-Accreditation if already Practitioner accredited 3 years Route B – with Practitioner Accreditation if eligible for accreditation 3 years before

Supervisor and/or Trainer Accreditation Route A and Route B Fully BABCP Accredited as C/BP Practitioner(Route A) or eligible for Full Accreditation (Route B) Minimum three years C/BP practice as a C/BP Practitioner since achieving eligibility for Full Accreditation Dedicated CBP Practitioner – 50% + CBT clinical practice

Supervisor and/or Trainer Accreditation Route A and Route B Treated a significant number of clients from a spectrum of complexity and a variety of problem areas using C/BP, under regular CBP Supervision Receiving regular Clinical Supervision from an expert and dedicated C/BP Supervisor, and have appropriate Supervision and support for C/BP Supervisory and/or Training Practice

Supervisor and/or Trainer Accreditation Route A and Route B Continuing Professional Development in skills and theory in C/BP including professional development as Practitioner, (30 hrs per year); Supervisor and/or Trainer in CBP (6 hrs per year over last three years). Provide regular specialist C/BP Supervision and/or Training (80+ hrs Supervision and/or 40+ hrs Training)

Supervisor and/or Trainer Accreditation Route A and Route B Commit to Re-Accreditation in 5 years Clinical Supervisor Report (including live element); and Supervisory and/or Trainer Report Supervisee Feedback forms and/or Trainer Evaluations Declarations & Ethics x

Supervisor and/or Trainer, and Practitioner Re-Accreditation Accredited or Re-Accredited as Practitioner, Supervisor and/or Trainer Practicing and accountable as a dedicated Behavioural and/or Cognitive Psychotherapist Providing, and can demonstrate the quality of, regular and accountable specialist CBP Supervision and/or Training (100 hours of each where relevant over the five years)

Supervisor and/or Trainer, and Practitioner Re-Accreditation C/BP Supervision for Practitioner (x1 hr per month); Supervisor (x15 hrs over 5 yrs); and/or Trainer (x10 hrs over 5 years) CPD for C/BP Practitioner, (30 hr per year); Supervisor (15 hrs over 5 years) and/or Trainer (15 hrs over 5 years)

Supervisor and/or Trainer, and Practitioner Re-Accreditation Commit to Reaccreditation in 5 years Clinical Supervisor Report (including live element); and Supervisory and/or Trainer Report Supervisee Feedback forms and/or Trainer Evaluations Declarations & Ethics
