Jeremiah 9  23 Thus says the Lord: Let not the wise and skillful person glory and boast in his wisdom and skill; let not the mighty and powerful person glory and boast in his strength and power; let not the person who is rich [in physical gratification and earthly wealth] glory and boast in his [temporal satisfactions and earthly] riches;  24 But let him who glories glory in this: that he understands and knows Me [personally and practically, directly discerning and recognizing My character], that I am the Lord, Who practices loving-kindness, judgment, and righteousness in the earth, for in these things I delight, says the Lord.

Daniel 6 It pleased Darius to set over the kingdom an hundred and twenty princes, which should be over the whole kingdom; And over these three presidents; of whom Daniel was first: that the princes might give accounts unto them, and the king should have no damage. What do we know about Daniel?  Got jobs for his friends Daniel 2:49  Man of deep wisdom Daniel 2:7-16  Had an excellent spirit Daniel 6:3  Was delivered from the Lion’s Den all in a day’s job.  He was of noble birth he never forgot that. Daniel 1:3  Man of favour Daniel 1:9
