Standley Vision We are committed to being the best we can be academically, socially and personally. We are dedicated to creating and maintaining a safe, healthy, challenging, supportive learning environment in which we all assume responsibility.

Who are we? Approximately 1,050 students General Education and Special Education Programs 50.47% neighborhood students, 49.53% CHOICE and VEEP students 9% of our students are English Learners, 6% Special Education, and 51% GATE 39% Free/Reduced lunch Highly qualified teachers and staff who are committed to our students

Standley Highlights Award winning band AVID (Achievement Via Individual Determination) Active ASB (Associated Student Body) Yearbook Clubs Active PTSA After School Sports [Soccer (S/P), Volleyball (UC/P), Basketball (UC/P), Flag Football (P)]

Academic Prep 30 minutes in length Attached to lunch Homework, Organization, Reading, Seahawk Sessions Specialized classes (i.e. Garden, Jazz Band, Choir, Dance, ASB, Yearbook, Science Olympiad)

Seahawk Sessions 5 Rotations (30 minutes/4 times per week) Time to raise student awareness of positive character traits Pillars of Trust, Respect, Fairness/ Caring, Citizenship, and Responsibility Videos, questionnaires, discussions, small group activities
