SCIENCE OLYMPIAD The Pond Road Science Olympiad Team competed in the Regional Tournament yesterday at Union County Community College in Cranford, NJ. Our students all worked hard and placed 5 th out of 18 teams. Their efforts have qualified them to move on to the state tournament in March! Individual team members placed in the following events: 6 th place: Anatomy - Sanam Thakur and Richa Mandrekar 3 rd place: Boomilever - Sahya Nara and Likitha Patlolla 3 rd place: Can’t Judge a Powder - Syam Angalakuditi and Aishwarya Ganesh 3 rd place: Dynamic Planet - Revika Singh and Roman Rychkov 5 th place: Entomology - Avilasha Haldar and Brinda Suresh 5 th place: Helicopters - Ritvik Agnihortri and Mariko McMurtry 3 rd place: Solar System - Avilasha Haldar and Nikita John 5 th place: Write it Do it - Sanam Thakur and Aanya Gupta Congratulations to ALL of the participants on their fine efforts and accomplishments Got Science!!!!!
