Practice Read as much as you can Read out loud when you can to people around you to practice your speaking skills Pronounce all the words carefully and smoothly Practice saying the words with the right stresses and make sure to pause when needed between sentences and words

Write Your Own Sentences Practice drawing from all of your vocabulary and referencing your vocabulary sheets as you write your own sentences After writing down all the sentences, make sure to read them out loud to each other to practice pronunciation

New Pronunciations Follow the patterns of the words you have learned to try pronouncing new words correctly

Challenging Children’s Writing Give the children the task of writing down their opinion about something and providing some explanation. For example after reading a story, ask the children to respond by writing “I like it,” “I don’t like it,” or another statement. Then show the children that they can write explanations such as “The story is boring,” or “The boy was funny.”
