Review the Terms!  ELEGY- a formal lyric poem written in memory of one who has died.  LYRIC- a short poem where a single speaker expresses an emotion or experience  IMAGERY- appeal to the senses  ALLUSION- references made to outside works  CAESURA- a grammatical pause or break in a line of poetry, most often in the middle of a line  ENJAMBMENT- the continuation of a sentence from one line or couplet into the next one.  ALLITERATION- repetition of initial consonant sounds  CONSONANCE- the repetition of the final consonant sounds  APOSTROPHE- a figure of speech in which someone absent or dead or something nonhuman is addressed as if it were alive and present and could reply  ASSONANCE- the repetition or pattern of similar vowel sounds
