Menu Overview

Enroll FP/PW/CARD

Verify mode Verify mode content such as SEPT/ANY, RF+PW, PW+FP, RF+FP, and ID+PW. SEPT/ANY is common used, you may choose different verify mode according to your need. SEPT/ANY mode: Access granted is available for FP, or RF, or ID+PW.

Group setting Group and time zone are access control function. There are 16 groups and 32 time zones, each group can set 4 time zones. By default, users are in group 1, group 0 is normal close and group 1 is normal open.

After adding administrator, it needs the verification of the administrator rights to enter Menu. When device is connected to PC, it also needs admin verification before data communication. Admin setup

System setting Device ID should be the same as in the communication software. Work code is a label to distinguish attendance time of working in different department.

Server mode Server mode is used in LAN, and device and computer must be in the same network. When add device in software, select the LAN communication mode and input correct device IP address to access to PC.

Client mode Client mode is normally used WAN, you may need to configure the server IP address(public IP), and map 5010 port in remote network.

There are three fingerprint matching precision levels (0, 1, and 2). 0 is lower precision (Basic).1 is standard precision(Good). 2 is high precision (Excellent). Auto update: Device will auto update once acquire a better FP template during FP verification progress. Log alert: Device will turn on the alarm when the available records are less than the ‘log alert number’. Log alert value ranges from 1 to Re-verify interval: Device only save the first record If you make continuous records with the same finger (time ranges from minutes). System

USB flash function Using USB flash to backup data and upload to PC in case of network and mini-USB communication mode are not available. New log backup: Download the new records into USB flash driver. All logs backup: Download all records to USB flash driver. User backup: Download all users FP templates to USB flash driver. User recovery: Recovery user data from USB flash driver.
