My Friend Space: My Blog: So you’d think being named after the Roman king of the gods would get me a little respect around here, but of course, you’d be wrong. I feel like I’m slowing down in my old age- it takes me years just to make one trip around the Sun! My surface and most of my interior are all gas- that’s why they call me a Gas Giant! Booyah! It is just so hard to get anything done in a day around here! I woke up this morning, as usual, but just 5 hours later it was nighttime again. Having a 10 hour day is just not fair. (Mercury thinks he’s SO hot with his 1,407-hour days! Rawr! He’s only hot ‘cause he’s so close to the sun!) My Great Red Spot is bothering me again too and I think I might go see a doctor. It has been churning away on my side for at least 400 years, but it feels much longer. Don’t even get me started on my family- with 63 confirmed moons (more than any other planet), I can’t even keep track of them all anymore. URANUS Haley’s Comet PLUTOVENUS Age of Aquarius
