If you are receiving any financial aid, you should strongly consider speaking with your financial aid counselor to ensure that you understand the terms and conditions that apply to the aid you are receiving. Renewal requirements for merit versus need-based awards Attempted credit hours versus earned credit hours Upon course registration, you will be assigned a designated financial aid counselor based on the first letter of your last name. You may speak with your financial aid counselor 9:00 am – 4:00 pm, Monday – Friday, by stopping by 101 Miller Student Services, or by calling (970) or toll-free at (800) Financial Aid

Math and Composition Placement Placements are initially determined by ACT and/or SAT scores (must be taken in 2013 or more recently), high school coursework, AP or CLEP test scores, and/or coursework from a previous college. Scores to determine whether a student requires basic skills coursework or is college-level in composition and mathematics are set by the State of Colorado (CRS ). Per State of Colorado policy, basic skills coursework must be completed with a grade of C- or higher by the time a student earns 30 credits at Fort Lewis College. If you have not provided us with placement information or wish to challenge your placement, you may take the Accuplacer exam for $25 at the Testing Center, Noble Hall, Room 287,

Graduation Requirements 6 Minors * Liberal Arts Core Majors *Depending on composition & mathematics placement information, some students will need to complete one or more basic skills courses, such as TRS 82, 91 and/or 92.

WebOPUS is the student database that allows you to register for classes, view your Fort Lewis College transcripts, apply for student housing, and provides you access to all of your personal information. Thank you! Now that you have registered for classes, you have incurred a financial commitment to Fort Lewis College. If you decide not to attend, you must take action to cancel your schedule before the first day of classes to avoid being responsible for a portion of your tuition and fees. Keep in mind that if you revise your schedule on your own, it is your responsibility to ensure that you are taking the appropriate classes for your degree plan. Fort Lewis College is an official means of communication and you are expected to check it regularly. You are automatically registered for the mandatory New Student Orientation Program which will take place August 27th – 29th. In order to participate in the mandatory New Student Orientation Program will you need to complete the Pre-Campus Academy class before you arrive on campus. The first Pre-Campus Academy module will be available staring July 1st, 2015 via your Fort Lewis College .
