Presentation transcript:

1) I woke up. I made breakfast. It was good. I cleaned up. I left home.

2) It was time for me to gather my materials and make my way through the hallway to my next afternoon class. I picked up my textbook, my notebook, my pencils, my pens, my scented erasers, and my folders. I knew my teacher would be angry if I forgot any of these supplies and perhaps I would be assigned after school detention for at least two weeks.

3) I like dogs. Dogs are fun. Dogs are big. Dogs are small. I really like dogs. Do you like dogs? I like them.

4) The long black car sped along the rough gravel road, leaving long plumes of dust in its wake. An elderly woman wearing a straw hat and a floral print dress was walking along the right side of the road. When she saw the approaching car her body froze though her heart pounded quickly and her eyes widened in fright.
