What are Fibres? A Fibre is the basic unit that makes fabric. It’s usually grouped and twisted together to form a continuous strand, called a yarn. Yarns can be woven or knitted together to make fabric. Fibres are classified according to their source or origin. Natural fibres come from natural sources, such as plants and animals.
