Escape From God's Wrath Against Our Sin Is An Expression Of His Longsuffering & Mercy - 2 Peter 3:9 The Sacrifice Of Jesus Appeases The Wrath Of God - Romans 3:23-26; 1 John 2:2. (Propitiation - Appeasement, atonement, to make amends) He is the sin offering God will accept, which removes our sin (forgiveness), & thus His indignation toward our sins - Hebrews 10:17-18. You need the offering of Christ applied to your sins to escape the wrath of God! (Acts 22:16)
Conclusion Romans 11:22 - Behold the severity of God. God will punish all sin - Revelation 21:8. Proverbs 11:23 “The desire of the righteous is only good; (But) the expectation of the wicked is wrath.” Will you treasure up peace or wrath against the day of eternity? Romans 2:5, “but after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up for thyself wrath in the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God”
