Revelation 5:1 And I saw in the right hand of Him who sat on the throne a scroll written inside and on the back, sealed with seven seals. Now the camera moves in on the action – the throne of God God has a scroll in His hand, sealed with 7 seals 7 is an important number 7 represents – whole, entire, complete

Revelation 5:4 So I wept much, because no one was found worthy to open and read the scroll, or to look at it. John is weeping – Why ? Here is a message from God BUT : No one can open it If it can't be opened – it can't be read Think about a letter in the mail – Who can open and look inside ?

An elder speaks – apostle or representative of Israel Don't weep – Don't give up, all is not lost Lion of Judah – the tribe of kings Root of David – in the blood line of the kings of Judah
