WHAT THINGS ARE HAPPENING THAT JESUS HAS FORETOLD US?

Before Jesus died He gave to his disciples a long speech about the things that would happen. He never meant to scare them. He foretold them the things that were still to come in order to prepare them to face the future with braveness and hope.

YOU MIGHT ASK WHY?

Because the future that was about to come for them was not good, and the future that is about to come for us isn’t good either.

JESUS WARNED THEM MATTHEW 24: 4-13

And Jesus answered and said to them: “Take heed that no one deceives you.

For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many.

And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.

For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places

All these are the beginning of sorrows.

Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake.

And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another.

Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many.

And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold.

But he who endures to the end shall be saved.

Surely we can say, “These things have been happening for so long, why should we be worrying now?”

Around 90 years after Jesus spoke those words, there was a disciple that received the Revelation of the things that would come. That disciple is the one that it is mentioned in the Gospel of John as “the one Jesus loved”, and he is the Apostle John.

This revelation that Apostle John received became the Book of Revelation. This is the last book of the Bible

But this Revelation was not sent to the world, it was sent to the church. Jesus’ Church

REVELATION 1.11

I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s Day, and I heard behind me a loud voice, as of a trumpet, 11 saying

“I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last,” and, “What you see, write in a book and send it to the seven churches which are in Asia: to Ephesus, to Smyrna, to Pergamos, to Thyatira, to Sardis, to Philadelphia, and to Laodicea.”

John was praying and the Holy Spirit was with him.

WHY DOES JESUS HAVE TO REMIND HIS CHURCH ABOUT THE THINGS HE ALREADY TOLD THEM?

BECAUSE THEY FORGOT IT, THEY WERE NOT PAYING ATTENTION, THEY WERE TIRED OF WAITING

WHAT ABOUT US, DO WE REMEMBER THEM? DO WE KNOW WHAT JESUS FORETOLD US TWICE?

REVELATION 6.4

Some scholars of the bible consider that the church will not have to endure these problems. Some consider the church will face them.

Another horse, fiery red, went out. And it was granted to the one who sat on it to take peace from the earth, and that people should kill one another; and there was given to him a great sword.

The last report presented by the United Nation about the issue of war and safety in the world says: In the last 5 years 35 nations have held war in different ways. Some of them still are at war.

But it is more than war. In some countries today, people seem to kill one another without caring, and there is no justice for the innocent.

REVELATION 6: 5-6

When He opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say, “Come and see.” So I looked, and behold, a black horse, and he who sat on it had a pair of scales in his hand

And I heard a voice in the midst of the four living creatures saying, “A quart of wheat for a denarius, and three quarts of barley for a denarius; and do not harm the oil and the wine.”

REVELATION 6:12

I looked when He opened the sixth seal, and behold, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became like blood.

The last report the United Nation emitted about environment says among other things that the earth quake every minute

A NEW WORLD ORDER WILL COME VERY SOON

REVELATION 13:1-3

Then I stood on the sand of the sea. And I saw a beast rising up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and on his horns ten crowns, and on his heads a blasphemous name.

Now the beast which I saw was like a leopard, his feet were like the feet of a bear, and his mouth like the mouth of a lion. The dragon gave him his power, his throne, and great authority

And I saw one of his heads as if it had been mortally wounded, and his deadly wound was healed. And all the world marveled and followed the beast

A NEW MONETARY AND FINANCIAL SYSTEM IS COMING SOON.

REVELATION 13: 16-17

He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads,

and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man: His number is 666.

THE SYSTEM WE KNOW WILL FALL IN A DAY. THEY WILL CHANGE THE MONETARY SYSTEM IN A BLINK OF AN EYE AND YOU WILL BE FORCED TO RECEIVE IT.

WHY

and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

WHAT WILL HAPPEN IF WE RECEIVE THAT MARK?

REVELATION 14: 11-12

And the smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever; and they have no rest day or night, who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name.”

BUT THEN THE BIBLE SAYS Here is the patience of the saints; here are those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus. REVELATION 14:12

WHAT HAPPENS WITH THOSE WHO DON’T WANT TO RECEIVE THE MARK?

It was granted to him to make war with the saints and to overcome them. And authority was given him over every tribe, tongue, and nation.

BUT DO NOT WORRY SO MUCH THIS IS NOT THE END…

JESUS SAID These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”

AND AGAIN JESUS SAID And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”

REVELATION 22:7 Behold, I am coming quickly! Blessed is he who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book.”

REVELATION 22:14 Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city.

REVELATION 22:15 But outside are …. “sorcerers and sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and whoever loves and practices a lie”.

REVELATION 22:16 I, Jesus, have sent My angel to testify to you these things in the churches

IS THERE ANY PROOF THAT THIS WILL HAPPEN?

MATTHEW 5: 18 For truly I tell you, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished.

REVELATION 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.
