JESUS’ TRANSFORMATION AWAITS YOU

We keep ourselves so busy running from one thing to another in our lives that we don’t give the Holy Spirit time to call us into His presence so we can accomplish the will of God.

Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children. And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God. Ephesians 5:1-2

Be not conformed to this world, but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind. Romans 12:2

For if any man is in Christ he is a new creation; the old has passed away and behold the new has come. 2 Corinthians 5:17

“You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; to be made new in the attitude of your minds; and

to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.” Ephesians 4:22-24

“For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works.” Ephesians 2:10

“But now, O Lord, you are our Father; we are the clay, and you are our potter; we are all the work of your hand.” Isaiah 64:8

God desires to transform us into the likeness of Christ so we can accomplish what He has planned for our life.

So what are the plans of the Potter for your life?

Where are you in determining God’s plan for your life?

Have you asked Him and now are walking in obedience daily to complete His plan for your life?

Did you skip the part about asking Him His plan and just gave Him your plan and asked Him to make it happen?

Have you asked and started along the way of the plan but walked away from it because it was too difficult?

Have you asked Him and started along the way of the plan but were distracted by something that took you away from His plan?

Boot camp Obedience without question.

Romans 12:1-2

1. Transform our minds about who God is.

2. Transform our minds about who we are in Christ.

3. Transform our minds about our bodies.

“Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price.

Therefore honor God with your bodies.” 1 Cor. 6:19-20

4. Transform our minds about this world.

“Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in them. For everything in the world— the lust of the flesh, the lust of

the eyes, and the pride of life—comes not from the Father but from the world. The world and its desires pass away, but whoever does the will of God lives forever.” 1 John 2:15-17

5. Transform our minds about our purpose.

Our primary purpose is to do whatever God asks us to do, go to Heaven when we die and take as many with us as we can.

How do we do this?

There has to be a change of heart as well as a change of mind.

Repent.

Humble ourselves before God.

Then we can expect progress but know that we will not be perfect until we go home to be with Him in Heaven.
