Kerang, Victoria, Australia 08 – 20 Jan Sunset on the last night I was there for …
Kerang, Victoria, Australia 08 – 20 Jan I was feeling a bit overworked at office … feeling like the year 2009 had never came to end but an endless, ceaseless cycle. Hence I decided should stop putting mama off and accompanying her to Mom’s place… at least my trip was partially sponsored And here I am enjoying every moment of it. The first night was magical … something awoke me and I looked out the window first without my glasses what I thought to be the lamp of Mom’s next door neighbour … This can’t be right …it’s too round and too big. I felt around for my glasses and lo and behold it was a full moon, shimmering orange in its resplendent beauty. It was like a scene of a novel. The moon shone on the paved floor like as if on a lake of pure moonbeam. I didn’t know how long I stood for enraptured by the sight before me... Then, with a smile upon my face … I snuggled back into the warm bed. Most days were spent lounging around, doing whatever I wanted to. Which included having nice chats with my mommy dearest, plucking fruits, eating them, watching DVDs, clearing s. We had a few ‘bingo’ afternoons, there was a day we had BBQ and a swim at John’s (Grandpa) place. Another day we had picnic at Kangaroo Lake (watch the video the John (the Uncle) put together) … with days like these the 12-day stay became all too short and soon it was time to return to reality … … but what is reality if our entire existence as we know it is but a scene on the stage of life. ~ Memoirs by S. Lee [03 May 2010]
