PROLIFE AND SOCIAL JUSTICE Micah 6:1-8 Text: 6:8 Theme: Abortion is an issue of social justice, but is no different than any secular movement unless biblical principles are followed.

“The complexity of the mathematical models of how these things are done is beyond human comprehension. Even though I am a mathematician, I look at this with marvel: How do these instruction sets not make mistakes as they build what is us? It’s a mystery, it’s magic, it’s divinity.”

“He has showed you, O man, what is good “He has showed you, O man, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.” Micah 6:8

DO JUSTICE A. Christians have a moral obligation to he society in which we live.

Justice

Justice Mercy

Justice Mercy Humility

DO JUSTICE B. Do/Act Justly – Christians are to protect and preserve the innocent and the weak from oppression and murder.

II. LOVE KINDNESS/MERCY A. We are to stand on the side of the widow, the fatherless, the poor and the oppressed.

II. LOVE KINDNESS/MERCY B. We need to offer compassionate alternatives.

III. WALK HUMBLY WITH YOUR GOD. A. The first two principles speak of our horizontal responsibilities but they are of no value unless our vertical relationship with God is maintained.

III. WALK HUMBLY WITH YOUR GOD. B. Our movement will be no different than any secular movement unless these principles are maintained.
