In spite of its relatively small territory ( km 2 ), the country has various landscape. The scenery changes subsequently from vast plains, to hilly areas and high mountains. Large beaches and beautiful rocky shores stretch out along the Black sea coast.

The College was established in 1881 as a State School of Telegraph and Post. Since may 2007 the College offers BACHELOR degree programmes. The College of Telecommunications and Post is a state owned public college, accredited and recognized by the National Evaluation and Accreditation Agency.

The College of Telecommunications and Post offers BACHELOR DEGREE PROGRAMMES in the following fields: Telecommunication Informatics; Telecommunication Technologies; Telecommication Networks Wireless Communications and Broadcasting; Management and Informatics of Telecommunications and Posts.

At the moment College of Telecommunications and Post has 75 lecturers and 48 members of technical and administration staff. In January 2011 there were about 1000 students. Lectures and seminars take place in the College’s classrooms and laboratory exercises in the college’s laboratories.
