Activates Penetrates Separates Investigates Promulgates

Activates For the word of God is quick, and powerful Not only the instrumental word but also the personal word – John 1:1, 14 The word of God is alive The word of God is active – Mat 24:35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away. Produces Fruit – Gal 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, – Gal 5:23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. Produces Christians – Luke 8:11

Penetrates and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing The word of God penetrates the heart It is God’s instrument that is used on the hearts of men – Eph 6:17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: – Col 2:10 And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power: – Col 2:11 In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ: The word of God can harm and help men – We must be careful how we use it (like a surgeon with a scalpel) – II Tim 2:15

Separates even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, The soul is the animal part of man – Gen 2:7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. The spirit is the immortal part of man – Ecc 12:7 Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it. The word of God is able to separate the smallest problem – Psa 119:148 Mine eyes prevent the night watches, that I might meditate in thy word. The word of God seperates the godly man from the world by its instructions

Investigates and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. The word of God investigates the inner thoughts of the mind God knows the mind of man he is the creator – Joh 2:25 And needed not that any should testify of man: for he knew what was in man. A honest look at scripture will cause us to truly search our souls – 2Co 13:5 Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates? Nothing is a secret from God – Ps 139:1-6 All things can be heavily scrutinized by the word of God – 1Th 5:21 Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. – 1Jn 4:1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

Promulgates Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do. No creation of God is hidden from the sight of God God sees everyone for who they really are (all things are laid open before the Lord) Thoughts, actions, words In order to see ourselves for who we are we must be honest We must compare ourselves with the word of God We must change ourselves according to what the word teaches We must continue to live the teachings of the word – Joh 8:31 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; – Joh 8:32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

The Word of God demand that we Cooperate We must obey the word of God to be saved Hear--- Rom 10:17 Believe--- John 8:24 Repent--- Luke 13:3 Confess--- Matt 10:32 Baptized--- I Pet 3:21
