This week in math we learned how to tell if one decimal is bigger than an other. For example 6.3 is bigger than 6.15 because, 6.3 is like 6.30 and 30 is bigger than 15. Learning how to do this was my favorite lesson. 6.3 > 6.15 COMPARING DECIMALS

Rounding decimals can make it easier for you to add them. For example: Which is easier? Adding 4.24 and 6.59 or adding 4 and 7? In my opinion 4 plus 7 sounds a lot easier than 4.24 plus becomes: becomes: 7 ROUNDING DECIMALS TO THE CLOSEST WHOLE NUMBER
