Making Comparisons -er (es or son) MAS (adj) Que (is or are) More (adj) Than Esta falda es mas bonita que esa falda. This skirt is prettier than that skirt. Esos pantalones son mas grandes que estos pantalones. Those pants are bigger than these pants.

Que tiempo hace? Que llevas cuando... Hace sol. It makes sun. Hace frio. It makes cold Hace calor. It makes heat. Hace viento. It makes wind. Hace buen/mal tiempo. It makes good/bad weather. Llueve. (llover – to rain) It rains/It's raining. Nieva. (nevar – to snow) It snows/It's snowing.

Superlatives (-est, or most adj) Examples: biggest, prettiest, most intelligent Es/Son + el/la/los/las + NOUN + mas + adj. It is the shirt most pretty. It is the prettiest shirt (in Walmart).
