Lunar Exploration Experiments and Activities at the American Museum of Science and Energy A Lunar LegoBots Outreach Project

Our Thinking We love science and mathematics, but some of our friends have already decided that science “isn’t for them”.

Our Thinking We love science and mathematics, but some of our friends have already decided that science “isn’t for them”. And they’re only 10 years old…

Our Thinking We wanted to show kids that science is fun, and that anyone can ask questions and discover the answers.

Our Thinking We wanted to target kids our age and younger.

Our Thinking We wanted to target kids our age and younger, because let’s face it, middle and high schoolers aren’t going to listen to a bunch of 10-year-olds.

Our Thinking School’s out for the summer.

The Story Doesn’t End There The museum has an active outreach program that involves providing STEM activities and instructors to area schools. The museum has asked the Lunar LegoBots to develop activities and experiments that can be used in this outreach program, and that can be posted on the museum’s website for individuals and educators.

Our Thanks The Lunar LegoBots would like to thank the American Museum of Science and Energy for all that they did to make our outreach project a success, including putting out a press release, advertising our event on their website, and making announcements directing visitors to stop by our exhibit.
