I’m sure, our school is the best. It was built in It has got a lot of traditions. Is there anything special about it?

Every year in September, 13 the race is held in honour of our former student Yuri Nikolayevsky who died heroically. His parents take part in this traditional event and give presents to the winners. To my mind, it’s important to remember our heroes and bring up the younger generation on their example.

Our school contains a lot of modern equipments: several computer classes, chemistry and physics labs, two gyms, a library, a new canteen.

Oh, I’m always hungry. I hope meals are tasty in your canteen, aren’t they? Certainly. A year ago our dining- room was equipped with all modern facilities. It is the best in Kandalaksha now.

Remember that your main task is to get knowledge. The group of pupils from school 2 won the 1 st place in the town competition “The cleverest student”.

We are proud of Ilya Itshenko who was awarded by the medal at the XVII All-Russian conference of young scientists (in biology) in 2010.

Every year the group of teenagers from our school take part in the scientific expedition. They observe the life of birds on the isles of the Kandalaksha nature reserve.

Some boys and girls participate in the social life. They made a social project, got a grunt and used it for designing the museum of the school history. You can visit it and get more information about school №2. I’ll do it.
