The Leadership Institute presented by Prime Time Palm Beach County, Inc. Established in 1989 to promote and achieve literacy in Palm Beach County Annually serves more than 25,000 adults, children, youth and families Distributes 70,000 new books to children

The Leadership Institute presented by Prime Time Palm Beach County, Inc. After School Programs Children’s Services Council asked the Literacy Coalition to create a reading program for afterschool settings After School Reads was selected as the program name

The Leadership Institute presented by Prime Time Palm Beach County, Inc. KidzLit was chosen as the curriculum as it was research based and correlated to the Florida Sunshine State Standards for Reading Initially the program served 7 sites

In 2011, Prime Time asked the Literacy Coalition to train staff on how to teach anti-bullying strategies to children using children’s literature Turning Bullies into Buddies was developed and now serves 16 sites with a dynamic literature based curriculum
