3 Status Washington (March 2008) Progress: » Discussed SecWG Security Architecture comments. Most resolved. Discussed possibility of adding link layer security. BSNC will revise for next meeting. » Discussed authentication document and added GMAC (should) and CMAC (may). » Met with SM&C – gave thumbs up to their security architecture. » Discussed CFDP and application layer security in general. » Reviewed Key Management Green and Magenta docs » Reviewed Mission Planners Security Guide draft » Reviewed the status of SCPS-SP (and its flaw) – decided not to repair and resurrect it. » Discussed and tabled the use of the Common Criteria for mission security profiles » Held joint mtg w/SLS to being a Space Link Layer Security BOF Current Progress: » Held interim telecon June 4, 2008 » Security sections written for both Encryption and Authentication docs. Reversed RSA DSA for dig signature. Both docs forwarded to Secretariat for editing Encryption doc out for “pre-review” review » Revised version of Security Architecture distributed for WG comments
