Herriman City Engineering Department
Herriman City has experienced tremendous growth over the last several years Many new subdivisions and associated roads have been constructed in the City
The rapid growth and construction activity has exposed our roads to traffic and heavy loads, which in some cases accelerated the deterioration of our roads
Currently Herriman City has as an inventory of 17,821,898 SF of asphalt road. A well implemented preventive Road Maintenance plan is needed to take care of our roads and keep them operative and functional.
Preventive Maintenance not reactive maintenance Deterioration = Life Very Cost Effective Applicable for all pavements Right treatment, right pavement, right time Importance of life-cycle cost analysis
“Every $1 spent in keeping a good road good precludes spending $6-$14 to rebuild one that has deteriorated.” Now Later
