Learning Objectives Able to download a props From 3D Xchange Able to import a props into iClone Able to adjust size and position of a props Able to attach a props to a object Know the difference of dir and spot light Able to change the colour of a spot light Able to look at a spot light onto a person

In 3D Xchange _>search: torch

Download and export the torch

Select Project -> Functional Demo - >Light Room

Select actor-> note the position (X, Y, Z) value

Import the torch in Set -> Props

Select torch in Scene Manager, left hand corner,

Change the scale and position until the torch is located at the hand

Rotate the scene and adjust the scale and position again

Select the torch In modify -> Linkage -> Pick Parent

Select the hand

Select the actor ->right click->walk forward Torch should be in hand all the time

Move the time line back to the beginning Save the project

Select stage ->Light

Select at Scene Manager ->Dir/Spot Light -> Light01

Change the color e.g. blue, at Modify - >Light setting

At Modify -> Select Look at > Pick Target

Select the actor Drag the time line _> Spot light should always point to the actor

Drag time line back to beginning

Move the position of spot light when needed

Select point light in scene manager

Move and Rotate the point light until its in line with the torch

Select Linkage -> Pick Parent _> select the torch

Drag the time line to see the light in line with the torch

Turn off point light 2 > select point light 1-> change the color and the range

Turn off ambient light i.e. change colour to black
