Welcome P.A.C.E. Parents September 11, 2014

Mentor-Mentee Students must have completed Mentor- Mentee before starting PACE. PACE students who have not finished PSAT or ASVAB will need to still take those tests. Senior Projects such as State Degree and Blood Drive are allowed to be completed during PACE.

Requirements All graduation credits must be completed by the end of winter term Senior year. Full time PACE students must be in a minimum of 12 credits.

Book Buyback Books must be sold back to the bookstore during book buyback week.(Finals) If the book is not sold back the student is responsible for 40% of the books value. The student account will be frozen until Scio High School collects the money.

Extra Curricular Students participating in extra curricular must be in at least 5 graded classes or taking at least 10 credits.

Probation Students must maintain a 2.0 G.P.A. while in the P.A.C.E. with no F’s If a student falls below a 2.0 or has an F they will be put on a one term probation. If the student does not improve they will be dropped from the program.

4 th and 7 th Week Progress Report Each student will be responsible for turning in their 4 th and 7 th week progress report to Tiffany Castillio at Linn Benton C.C. Students who do not turn in their progress report will be given a warning, then probation, then dropped from the program. If a student’s grade on the progress report is below a “C” the student will be required to spend a minimum of 2 ½ hours in the tutoring center at L.B.C.C. or Attend 305 strive at Scio High School on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Students must not have more than 2 absences per term.

G.P.A. Student must be aware that the classes they take are going toward high school credit and G.P.A. Honors diploma can be effected. Salutatorian and Valedictorian can be affected. College acceptance can be affected.
